Standards for the Ministry of Helps Romans 12

1.     Be a living sacrifice Romans 12:1

·   “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”  RO 12:1 NKJ

·   “Greater love has no one than this,that he lays down his life for  a friend.”  JO 15:13 NIV

   

2.     Conform to God’s will RO 12:2

·   “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is -  His good, pleasing and perfect will.”  RO 12:2 NIV

·  “Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord.  Touch not the unclean thing”  2 CO 6:17

3.     Don’t think of yourself high that you ought RO 12:3

·   “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone of you;  don’t think of yourself more highly than you ought,  but rather think of yourself with sober judgment,  in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you”  RO 12:3 NIV

·  "Don’t have an exaggerated opinion of yourself or your abilities.

·  “Live in harmony with on another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive),  but readly adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks.  Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.”  RO 12:16 AMP
