Worship Song of the Day 5/30/2014 William McDowell - Closer

Closer

Into your arms
I'm drawing near again
To dwell with you
It's my only heart's desire
It's my only heart's desire

All I can do
Is fall on my knees and cry
Cleanse me with fire
And purify my heart

Draw me close
Closer than before
Closer than I've ever been

Wrap me in your arms, oh God.
[Repeat]

So take me to that place Lord,
To that secret place where
I can be with you
You can make me like you

Wrap me in your arms
Wrap me in your arms
Wrap me in your arms

We Give You Glory Songtext We give you glory

We give you glory
We give you glory
Oh God (x4)

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Oh God (x2)

For you have fought for me
Defeated death for me
The weight of sin you carried for me
Your never ending love
What you gave for us
Is far more greater than anything
We give you glory yeah

We give you glory
We give you glory
We give you glory
Oh God (x4)

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Oh God (x2)

For you have fought for me
Defeated death for me
The weight of sin you carried for me
Your never ending love
What you gave for us
Is far more greater than anything
We give you glory yeah

For you have fought for me
Defeated death for me
The weight of sin you carried for me
Your never ending love
What you gave for us
Is far more greater than anything

Emanuel, we know you're with us
We give you glory oh god
And we declare your glory
You're more than worthy
We give you glory Oh God

Send your power
Send your power
Send your power
Oh God (x2)

We give you glory
We give you glory
We give you glory
Oh God (x2)

Red Letter Quotes: MA 10:7,8

In Context
Matthew 10:5 - 15

Sending Out the Twelve

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,[c] cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, 10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.
11 “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. 12 And when you go into a household, greet it. 13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!

It's Working

This is my season for grace for favor
This is my season to reap what I have sown
This is my season for grace for favor... yeah
This is my season to reap what I have sown
See....I haven't been perfect, but I sure been faithful
See....God's got a purpose yes and I know He's able
I've got a seed in the ground, that He's blessing no more stressing
I've got a seed in the ground, now I know Him I can show Him
This is my season for grace for favor
This is my season to reap what I have sown
This is my season for grace for favor... yeah
This is my season to reap what I have sown
Listen....everything is working together for my good.
Everything is working (DON'T FEEL GOOD) together for my good.
Everything is working together for my good. (2x)
It's good (4x)..... Its working for my good.
It's good (Repeat) Its working for my good.
It's real good, it's working together for my good.
This is my season for grace for favor... yeah
This is my season to reap what I have sown
God is leaning....in my direction,
He's leaning.....in my direction. (2x)
This is my season for grace for favor... yeah
This is my season to reap what I have sown
I've got a seed in the ground, I've got a seedddd in the groundddddd.....

Red Letter Quotes: MA 7:3 - 5 NKJ

In Context

Matthew 7:1-5

New King James Version (NKJV)

Do Not Judge

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Red Letter Quotes: MA 9:12b - 13

In Context

Matthew the Tax Collector

As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.
10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
